ABOUT EBOOKS
  • Basic Info: eBooks are digital versions of physical textbooks at a lower price. Towson has partnered with RedShelf and VitalSource to bring students the ability to purchase eBooks.
  • Enhanced Features: Note taking, highlighting, high speed search, and printing.
  • Pros: Convenient, good for the environment (and your budget), delivered to your desktop, and accessible across all of your mobile devices.

HOW TO PURCHASE EBOOKS
  • Purchase Online: eBooks are listed for purchase alongside the physical textbook options on our Course Materials page. These are the "Digital" option shown and some may have a specified timeframe (60 days, 180 days, etc.) or others will be labeled as "Lifetime." Once your purchase is made, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with access instructions or you may follow the steps found on this page.
  • Purchase In-Store: If you are interested in purchasing your eBook in-store, please visit our Valet Counter and a staff member can assist you. Once the eBook is purchased at the register, a receipt with an Access Code will be printed. You may then access your eBook following the steps listed on this page.
  • eBook Refunds: eBook refunds are based upon whether or not the title has been activated, the amount accessed/printed, and the date purchased. (NOTE: access/printing restrictions are set by individual publishers and NOT the UStore.) If you would like to request an eBook refund, please contact [email protected] and provide your order number and the title(s) you would like refunded.
